What is ABA?

ABA stands for Apllied Behavior Analysis. The method is aimed to stimulate the development of children. ABA is focussed at improving communication, self-reliance and other social skills but also skills that are required at schools and day-care centers.

ABA is an intensive and a long treatment method that focuses on achieving the goals (skills) that are being trained through small steps. Wanted behavior is rewarded, whereas unwanted behavior doesn't lead to any kind of reward.

ABA is aimed on each individual child and each plan is being written specifically for the child in question where our consultants look what is needed for that particular child so it can be motived properly.

ABA begins with observation and analysis of the current behavior of children, based on these findings a plan is written in which goals and skills will be described.

ABA leads to generalized behavior which means that learned skills can be applied to different situations in order for the child to function independently.

ABA is developed in the U.S. and is based on more then 50 years of scientific research. It is a scientific proven method that is effective in teaching children with autism or children with other related disorders.
